Ummm, MSRP for it will be a bit over $800, so I've heard "street price guesses from $600-$800... Especially after it's been out for a while...

I know the SR600 has already been sold for $400, and that just came out...

To my ears, Onkyo's are brighter than Denons...

I like the Onkyo's myself...

Do a comparison between the Denon 2802 and the 3802. Pretty much same technology for $200 less. You won't need the amps anyways.

It is better to be boldly decisive and be wrong than to agonize at length and be right.

Both my dad and a friend of ours have the 6.1 Outlaw receivers. Our friend hasn't had any problems with his, but dad's had two problems: The volume knob missed a lot...meaning you could turn it and nothing would happen until you made two or three complete rotations, and the rear channels would sound like they were being sent a distorted/clipped signal at lower/moderate volume levels when you had decoding enabled. Sooo, dad's went back. Outlaw has been great about replacing it, but there have been numerous units sent back (reading on forums/newsletters/ect).

If it works, they're great receivers. I don't know anything about their 7.1 equipment, however.

i think it was warbleed....was trying to get me to buy one of their receivers.....either that or a five channel amp.....think was grossly underrated.....reviews of it were very very solid.....don't remember any model numbers though.....
