audio *noise*?

I had an odd cheap dvd player that mad an audible hum and it had it's own volume. When started it was always set at zero, range from -20 to +20, and the preouts where also controled by this. Everytime I had to take it down to about -8 to get rid of the hum...didn't keep it too long. :D

Alpine CDA-9827
Crossfire CFQ5.2
JL Audio XR 650csi components, Planet Audio TT2300
Crossfire VR404 on factory rear 6x8's until I get them upgraded
SI 15D2 + 3.8 @ 30 hz + Crossfire BMF 1000D = :)
