Well the Partsexpress website said the 8" was for a small HT system, 10" for a medium, and 12" for a large system.

I don't really know what they would call a small, medium, or large system, but I guessed mine would be medium (I'm not Fabio, I can't afford a $50,000 speaker, so I figured its not large... and I figured small was like those packaged deals you get from Worst, I mean Best Buy)... so I was thinking of going with the 10" or the 12"... They didn't have a cheap 15" so that wasn't an option, plus I still want to be able to hear the voices on movies :D.

For $350 you could build so much better.

Powered by Bash Digital 300w amp
Box is 8^3 feet IIRC
Tunage is ~20Hz.

Here are some pictures of it.

So out of the 10" or the 12" which would sound the best with my setup... Im sure you guys will say go big, but I figure I would check.

big! no real reason not to. only costs a few extra dollars, but you get a little extra output and LFE that you may find out you want. I'd always rather overbuild a little and not have to push things to their limits continuously.

That, is some nice woodworking. Does is double as an end table or something?

He didn't do it and that used to be my sub... :D

Yes, I'm sure it functions as a piece of furniture as well...

So woodpaneling, have you made your decision yet?
