building some speakers for the home

Postby Member02 » Tue Aug 07, 2007 12:24 pm

I'm building a pair of speakers for my living room, and currently the speakers I was thinking of using have been sold out for a while:

the dayton 5 1/4s: http://www.partsexpress.com/pe/pshowdetl.cfm?&DID=7&Partnumber=295-302&ctab=14#Tabs

Specifications: *Power handling: 30 watts RMS/45 watts max *VCdia: 1" *Le: .60 mH *Impedance: 4 ohms *Re: 3.5 ohms *Frequency range: 45-4,000 Hz *Fs: 49 Hz *SPL: 91.8 dB 2.83V/1m *Vas: .50 cu. ft. *Qms: 2.00 *Qes: .41 *Qts: .34 *Xmax: 2.5mm *Dimensions: A: 5-11/16", B: 4-3/4", C: 3-1/8".

does anyone have any suggestions on similar speakers I could use in a vented setup, the tritrix from their website. please?

You will cry my name
