Did I miss it, what speakers are you using?

Yeah right :D

That's still up in the air at the moment.. Not exactly sure what I'm doing as the Kit 261's are no longer available..

What I do have is a pile of random drivers laying around.. an unassembled kit 61, a pair of 7" Vifa PL's, a pair or Rainbow W 165 midbasses, 2 pair of Adire AV-3's, a pair of Aura AS-3s, a pair of Adire ACA-1 car tweets, and an IDQ15..

Now if I could just find a speaker company with a loose trade-in policy..

I have an unassembled kit 61 - that'd make you a pair.

I just have to find the damn thing.

That would be awesome.. Still wouldn't solve my problem, but I'd definately be happier having a matched pair in my posession..

I dunno but that just seems a little overkill for me. I didn't read the whole thing as my attention span has been short lately. but if you laminated basically any two 3/4" woods together, wouldn't the resulting 1.5" thick board be pretty stiff and dead regardless? Just thinking that's pretty thick.

Ok, so, 6 months later I'm actually building it..

1.25 cubes appropriate for a sealed-up Kit261? The "small" and "large" ported designs are 1.75 and 2.37 respectively..

Got the driver cutouts & lip recesses cut in the baffles last night.. Might have to try a carbide bit next time for the recesses, the HSS one I used dulled & burned in a hurry..

Did run into one big bummer.. Crossovers aren't coming out of the old towers without some cuttin'...
