Panel mount jacks

I just got an Xbox (yeah an original one :)), and found how to mod my Xbox to have built in composite, S-Video, component, coax and toslink digi outs. I found the rca jacks for the composite, but not for S-Video or the others...and I wasn't happy with the connectors.

I thought about cutting up some wall plates and using them, but I'm convinced there's got to be a less expensive way of getting all the proper connectors for a reasonable price.

Any info?

Toslink's going to be the difficult one.. can you stick with the SPDIF?

I might could. It just hit me that the PS2 had (at least mine did) a toslink output. I could find a broken PS2 or maybe a replacement part and use that.

Or you can buy the Monster cable that does everything for like $50. Should come with the digital audio and everything. :)

Just looked, and you'll need the 400X and the 100X. I found them both on Amazon, and for less than $50 total. Still under $60 with shipping. Doesn't get much easier than that. ;)

Its not about easy though. I went to plug in the current A/V pack and I can't plug it into both the audio and video on my receiver without making an extension. Its really gay, and I hate being stuck with fixed-length cables. We'd all throw a fit if the DVD player we just bought had cables that couldn't be changed, and I feel the same way about this.

I also don't have quite that much budget...plus I may have a lead on a DVD changer I can cut up to use the connectors for my Xbox, and the plug in setups that are widely available don't offer VGA output either! :)
