Dream Car (with a caveat)

Okay, here is a question I have asked a good number of my friends and it says a lot about a person I think.

Pick ONE VEHICLE and ONLY ONE VEHICLE, money no object....

here is the catch...it HAS to be your daily driver. Skip the photos, just your choice and why.

I'll start with my choice...The S8. Fast V8, lots of room, handles well and the AWD keeps me going no matter the weather.

I am going to have to stick with my guns and say Elanor from Gone in Sixty Seconds. i dont see the point in having a 500hp car that will approach 200mph unless you race it; a car like that cant be fully uitilized as a daily driver. but thats just my opinion.....

Outlaw, I think you mean the 03 Cobra. The factory supercharged, 390 HP Cobra, that is.

Personally, with money no object, I'd go with a McLaren F1. Good god, that thing is everything I want in a car. Absolutely gorgeous.

I would like to say a Porsche 959, but it would be a crime if that car ever got damaged. I would have to say a Porsche C4 because it's 500 lbs. lighter than the Turbo and you could always turbocharge the engine anyways. Throw in the GT3 suspension, Porsche's ceramic brakes, and the GT2 aero package and I'd be in heaven.

yes, the 2003 cobras come standard with a 6 speed transmission. i regularly read a few mustang monthly magazines. people have dynoed the cobra and found it makes close to 390hp. taking into account friction and other power loses, that puts engine output somewhere in the neighborhood of 440-50 hp.
