Not necesarily performance, but suspension...

Postby karkid » Sat Aug 31, 2002 1:46 pm

What are some good lowrider s10 sites. I'm planning on building one when I finish up the GN. I'd really like to do one ofthe 4 door trucks, I like the new crew cab s10. Anyways, it'll be the works, airbags, wheels, paint, stereo, interior, and sy/ty drivetrain.

Any good forums?

there are TONS of sites out there....two specific s-series sites are:

http://www.s-series.org
http://www.s10forum.com

also try:
http://www.sportruck.com
http://www.streetscenemag.com

and my hangout,
members.boardhost.com/minitrux

the Sy/Ty website is
http://www.syty.net
I think....not completely sure

these are all just off the top of my head...not sure if the links will work or not

I would REALLY research the Sy/Ty drivetrain w/ bags idea...not sure about how the X-case drives the front, but if it is with a solid axle there is no way in hell that you will be able to rail unless you ditch the solid axle front (I am not sure if it has a solid front...it might have indy front suspension - ask the guys at the Sy/Ty forum....they know everything about that truck.

anything you need to know about bags just let me know (and don't be fooled by the $1000 deals in magazines....they don't give you anywhere near enough to rail....still need shocks, monster notch, mounts, etc....not to mention the compressors are garbage and they only give you FB, not FBSS

Peace,
