and in SCCA solo2 (autocross) nationals this year, and as you know at nationals, all cars are prepared to max allowable, the miatas had over 3 seconds over the fastest camaro :), you have to go back 13 or 14 places to find a slower miata than the fastest camaro :) Even in the street prepared classes (more changes allowable) where things tigthen up the miata had 2 seconds on the camaro...and an 84 camaro was placing higher than any more modern one :)

Miata's can hold there own at auto Xing. They are just too small for me though :)

I can do that as well actually, I can fit 15"s easily actually, I choose not to for the same reason you don't run dual 18"s in your car. space and practicality
