well i gave her a bath with some dawn to strip the year and a half of wax off, and then waxed her up. i know ive got some swirls in the paint, but thats gonna have to wait until it cools down a bit to work on them.

Ever tried a clay bar kit? OOOOOh they make the paint smooth.

as soon as i get an extra $20, i'm picking up a clay bar kit, my car NEEDS it. ive a year and a half worth of embedded bug guts on my front bumper

Cool. I forgot to mention, if your plastic head/tail lights get dull, polish them up with Brasso. No kidding. I picked that up from a buddy who was restoring an old juke box with worn out buttons. If you check the back of the Brasso can, it lists "Plastic Watch Crystals" as a Use.

Apply, let it haze, buff. Repeat. Probably 3 or so applications and they will shine like new. A buffer speeds the process up, but is not necessary.
