It was the Vauxhall VX220 Turbo. Same basic chassis and body design as the Elise, it was designed by Lotus. Only real difference is the turbo. If I remember correctly, the Elise is 180 or so bhp, where as the VX220 Turbo is 200 bhp.

A front engined version is coming our way next year to be sold as the Saturn Sky, according to Top Gear.

Here in death's dominion
Where even shadows die
I am the one almighty
You will cry my name
And when you seek forgiveness
You will see there is no god
And for all eternity
You will cry my name

the vx220 is 220hp hence the name, but yea, similar cars

lotus did recently release a supercharged version of the exige for limited production, 240hp, 0-60 in 3.9sec

that would be fun to play around in

different suspension set up. the guy said it himself that this thing had boat loads of oversteer where as the elise does not.
the body deisgn was also different, it has a much better rear end than the elise.
it laso had a lot more safety equiptement than the elise

for the price, i would pay to have it bought in england and shipped over here. no one else would have one. but i dont have the money and it wouldnt be the greatest of daily drivers either (though with a boost controller i would imagine it would get nice MPG being so light).

eh, maybe after i finish college and get a nice job... :P

Those cars make me feel funny down there

The Sky looks okay, but it is waaaaay too heavy, 2800lbs IIRC.
