$5 says that this leak WILL help the design, they surely got some good input from thread posters bashing each other.

did that help?

NOT SO FAST ON THE REPOSTING OF THE PICS!!! Apparently that was misinformation...

Quote directly from a Scott Settlemeire email...

As you probably know by now, pictures of a Chevrolet Concept have hit the internet. Many of you have emailed me or called me asking for comment or for permission to put the pictures on your websites.

Let me make something clear.

The images were not authorized by GM to be shown or published.

We are not authorizing anyone to show these images.

They are considered stolen property.

If you have already posted pictures, we would appreciate your removal of these images from any publication or website.

The clay mock-up is very edgey, the real version getting watered down a bit might clean up some of the hard lines and really bring it all together. I think when it is all said and done, it'll be a jaw-dropper in person. Watch for pics in less than a month from the NAIAS in Detroit when they actually debut the real concept car (not the clay).

I agree Josh. It is one thing to bash a rolling chassis concept, but the clay model is always hard to judge from.

because it was too expensive to put on the Z06 :cwm11:

i really will get a kick out of this if the new camaro has IRS but the vett z06 doesnt...no matter how well it works on the vett

also i see the stang look, but if the keep the sloping hood style, i kinda like the beastly look, on the flip side i think in some of thoes examples GM just took their old 03' SS concept and gave it some edges and a new front end

its still to concept-retro to tell what its really going to look like, the origional new mustang concept looked great but was produced not looking nearly as nice, it had irs as well...its not the irs on the car thats so much more expensive but the development of it that costs a lot of money

The C6 Z06 does have IRS you jackass. What is your problem with the C6 Z06? Are you pissed off an American "hunk of junk" is running with and beating your high-held exotics for a fraction of the cost? Get over yourself.

There is no Firebird, or Trans-am.

Glad they decided to bring F-Body back :)
