On paper they appear to be a phenominal car. Good price too. I wouldn't want to own one due to the fact that it's a honda... Sure, they make great cars, but 16-17 year olds have ruined their entire image for me. I drive a subaru station wagon though, so my opinion is ****.

Hot car????? i guess you and i have greatly different views on what a hot car is.....

RX8= very hot loking car and alright performing car
Vette= nice looking and hot performing car
Viper= very hot car
Elise= extremely hot car
Mustang GT= bordering on being a hot car (Ford finally got at least the exterior styling right this time)
Pontiac Solstice= hot looking car
Civic SI = boring looking= not a hot car

Ron, it's all a matter of opinion...

I'd take the new Civic real quick if it were awd or rwd... :(

You know, i've been thinking about it a bit more, and i'm not certain it's even the neat car i thought it was. Sub 200 hp, FWD, bland looks and the honda badge. You're going to have every dickhead in town trying to race you at every light. For the same price you can almost get a wrx with more HP, more displacement, AWD and what will amount to be a better mod path.

From 40-80, i have no doubt that a civic Si could keep up with me, but i'd have 2-4 car lengths on it before we hit 40 and it'd be hard to make up the difference even if it could pull on me. That's my stock wrx, no mods. With mods, you're ****ed.
