Helpful hint: next time don't use any ammonia based cleaners on your tinted windows. It eats the film and makes it turn purple. I recommend Invisible Glass, as it does not do this, and works great. About $5 at any auto parts store.

Well I know this is a lot later than I anticipated but IT IS FINALLY GETTING DONE. I had the car detinted today and am getting it retinted this Thursday with 20% on the front 4 windows and 5% on the rear:cool:

They showed me a customer's car that they had just finished doing when I got there with 20% on the front and 5% on the rear and the 20% was definitely not dark enough so 5% it is:D

i had 28% done all around on my car... 30% is the state limit for side windows.... so i just went with what was closest.... wish i had gone with the 18-20% stuff instead.

Demon Hunter huh? I can't believe somebody else has heard of them. Most people laugh when you use the words "Christian Members/Christian Label" and "Hardcore/Rock"

Using a metal film based tint will also resist purpling. The cheaper stuff will purple regardless of what you clean the window with. Most shops that use metal film tints will offer a lifetime waranty with them as well.

I am getting a lifetime warranty with my tint:D The guy said he actually had a customer about 3 weeks ago from 1992, and they fixed it without any questions :cwm10:

hehehe... i got lifetime on mine as well.... i paid out the *** when i had mine done... got the best tint the shop offered at the time. Drove an hour just to go to the shop i wanted. Think its metal based, but not sure... been 5years, no problems at all.
