get a honda civic cx hatchback circa '94

insurance should be dirt cheap, despite the "civic" image stated above. If your company rapes you on insurance for a 72hp car, you need to switch. The car is light, ~2500lb's iirc. yea it's only got 72hp, but it's pretty torquey(120lb/ft at a useable rpm iirc). It's far from quick, but it's enough to get around with, while being GREAT on gas.

My friend's had one for a little over 3 years. Only things he's had to replace(that i know of) are a clutch master cylinder and an exhaust.

oh - and it's got some GREAT cabin gain ;)

Ah, Well Ill need some cabin space cuz the next car Im going to put a system in it, I guess I should have said that in my first post but oh well lol, I had a 15" ava. running off a 1800D power acoustik. Right now its running off a 300 watt plate amp in my room, I'm planning on running a havoc off of some amp havent figure it out yet--just a random thought

they've got a good 4 cubes to work with behind the rear seat - probably could squeeze 6 cubes. A 15 ava off 1kw+ would be sickeningly loud.

yea, It was pretty loud in my camaro I had it in a 3.5cu.ft box @ 29hz. The only good thing about my camaro was that it bearly flexed so It was all pretty much contained inside the car
