Detailed the Z yesterday *pics*

Postby black300zx » Sun May 07, 2006 7:46 am

Wound up giving the z a good spring detailing yesterday. It was a beautiful day for it too:) Washed it down with dawn, claybared the entire car, then gave it a coat of mothers gold wax. I've still need to clean the wheel wells out today, detail the wheels, then finish cleaning out the wheel wells. After that I think I might make a new amp rack so my t-tops can fit in right.

Here's a few decent pictures I got last night. I'll get better ones after it's finished.

Didn't look at the pics, but with the wheel talk I thought I'd mentioned I won some of that black magic tire shine stuff...Weird stuff, works well, about a week and it's still shiny...

ya know - That's exactly what I picked up this morning:) Looks good, but I don't think I'm crazy about the spray on form. I prefer gels

I've only tried the spray and leave it stuff, well, we used to have/use this old school powdered stuff you mixed with water, put on for have an hour, and then scrub off...worked & and cleaned the tires if they had any marks (except the white walls), but it smelled like burning trans fluid...

Edit: going to have to make a thread...
