SCrewy power door locks on Grand Voyager

Postby newguy » Tue Sep 05, 2006 3:57 pm

I'm thinking it's a switch problem but wanted some feedback...

'94 Grand Voyager....Ok, here's the symptoms:

Driver's side switch: I hit 'Unlock' (up), the driver side LOCKS and passenger side UNLOCKS. When I hit 'Lock' (down), nothing happens. No relay clicking...nada.

Passenger side switch: Same thing. Hitting 'Unlock' (pushing up on switch) unlocks the passenger side and locks the driver side. Pushing down (Lock) does relay, nothing..

Any ideas as to whether this is a switch, ground or crossed wire problem? I'm hoping to just replace the switch. Don't know if it matters, but the passenger side power window doesn't work (guessing it's the motor).

Sounds like the driver side is hooked up backwards or something, and that the relay in the unlock function is fubar.
