I think I'm going to do the resin thing, and build a copper plate and wire ground cage to connect to the sheath...somewhat functional...

I'm thinking I might try out some Silmar 41 Clear Polyester Casting Resin as I have some other projects I could use it on. It'll be a while (a few weeks) before I can work on anything though...

I don't know, I don't have any...Shouldn't be much different than any other cast resin.

How much is it? They sell it at the art stores near me for about 15 bucks per gallon.

it's $29 +/- $3, I believe, it's probably superior to anything else.

Member was right, but you can also buy it in quarts for about $10.

I finally got the crappy auto-run read-only programs cleared off of them, that was a pita. Actually, it was only bad until I figured out the programs were some "U3" brand which I found an unistall/wipe/reformat program for right from the company...sweet.
