Tweeter Placement

Postby todd.brust » Sun Apr 06, 2008 12:55 pm

My buddy recently purchased a set of Adire Koda Components. The woofer is going to be placed in the stock door locations. We are just wondering about the tweeter placement. The stock tweeter location is on top of the dash reflecting off the windshield. I know the Kodas work good off axis so I figured the windshield could work well. Any objections or suggestions?

I would highly suggest placement near the woofer on the door panel. You get a LOT of reflections off the windshield with placement up there.

you don't if you pad your dash :) simple dashmat can do the trick :) tweets down low in my car never make it up to where they should be...every car is different.

What I would do it, put it together but dont mount the tweets, that way you can play with the location to see what he likes bestest.

That's what someone from SSA said also, but they said "Velcro is my Best friend".

We'll try some different locations.
