Well guys, as you have probaby noticed I havent been around much here lately (or anywhere on the net). Six months ago I took a promotion and helped start up a new division with the company I work for and it's been hectic to say the least. Well, it continues to be busy and I cannot devote the time to Acoustic Visions that it needs and with great sadness I'm giving everybody here a heads up that I'll be closing shop in a month when it comes time to renew my URL. I've been in business since early 2001 so it's been a good run and I've loved every minute of it and I want to thank you guys for everything you've done. My heart just isnt in to it any longer and I'm too tired after work to give customers my full support and they deserve better.
It's been a great time and I appreciate everybody for your support and the many friendships that I've made over the years. I started out just hoping that AV would give me a little spending money to help feed my audio adiction. It took off and for several years I did well enough that I considered doing it full time but I could never make the leap of faith it required so I kept its growth at a pace that I could live with while still working full time and it worked well for quite some time.
I'll be honest, with the demise of Adire, Acoustic Visions also started to head down hill. By that time I was starting to lose interest and motivation to change gears to keep AV alive. I'm positive I could have done it with the right amount of motivation but it was too late at that point. With the new promotion at work I was working more and more and AV was about the last thing I wanted to do after getting home so it finally came time to make the tough decision about what to do and as you can see I have decided to close the doors.
Acoustic Visions is something I'm proud of and I hope it has helped many of you in the past. It was a great chapter in my life and a great learning experience as well since I have never had any business or financial classes to help prepare me for owning my own business. Thats the great thing about life, we learn from experience and apply it to the next chapter in our life so we can become well rounded individuals. And so begins the next chapter.....
Thanks,
Kyle Richardson

That is sad to hear. But it sounds like you are doing the right thing. While I never ordered anything from your site, I browsed it quite a few times to look at kits and drivers and to get product information. I would like to congratulate you on such a good run and having the risk of opening your own business pay off for you.

sad to see you giving it up, but moving on with life is a good thing. best of luck with the promotion, and as said, you're always welcome to hang out here in your little spare time left as a "normal" person.

Kyle--to accept your resignation, the board must vote and approve of this.
I vote Nay.
I dr00l over the goods on your site a lot, unfortunately my spendable income is negative so I never got past window shopping. Best of luck to you bro! Make sure you spare some time occasionally to come visit us.

yea, I am also sad to hear this, I will no longer be able to refer the few people I referred, but you had a good long run, and I'll tell you the adire thing is what ruined me as well, since then I also lost interest slowly.
But you had some of the best service possible from the internet, props for doing a great job at it! Good luck with the new position kyle!
whatever you do, do not let that website turn ito some sort of ad-infested thing, I'll buy it or someone here would likely, just to keep that from happening.
