Smaller Ported OR Sealed? Help!

Postby nikoskostaras » Sun Jun 08, 2008 5:55 pm

Hi guys. I Have a problem. I have 2 SE's 15'' to put them in my corolla sedan trunk. I want to put them in a ported box because I think I'll get more bass. BUT...the box for each woofer that I can put easilly when its ported is 2,5 cu.ft..The manufacturer says for compact, 3cu.ft.-compact and 4cu.ft.-maximum. Will the 2,5cu.ft ported work or should I go with the Sealed with 2cu.ft. for each sub????

Thanks...

Sealed. I had 1 SE15 in a 2.0 cu/ft net sealed box and it sounded VERY good and was decently loud - I can only imagine how well 2 of them would perform!
