I've looked at knukoncepts and only see 1/0 then 4 gauge. Nothing in the middle.

go to a welding supply store near you.... buy 1/0awg welding cable... its cheaper than car wire, and better quality.... only drawback is that it doesn't look pretty.

Yes, I've considered it. We have an old arc welding cord laying in our shop but want to grab some 2 awg from the net. Nearest actual welding store for me in ~2 hours away so it's a pretty tight squeeze to go get some.

Here is one problem http://i34.tinypic.com/2znybdz.jpg
Small gap. On the opposing end of that board, it's flush against the front wall. Little sanding and should be ok though.

If you can't fine 2 guage, I'd just do 1/0. Never hurts going bigger!

Gpunh bigger always hurts the wallet though. Haha. 3.50 @ 20~ feet. Ouchie momma. I might. Just trying to stray a bit with costs so I can grab the kicker 1000.1. But would I notice a different in life span and output between one of the cheaper class d's from IKE and the kicker?
Since my box is almost complete I'm just getting anxious to hear these puppies. Might have to send 200~ to each for a small test

LOL, the Orion 600Ds are probably better quality amps than the Kicker...
It's all made in Korea or Taiwan, no matter how much we or the dealers kid ouselves. There is no such thing as dirty or clean power with a Class D amp, they all make pretty sive waves when you look at them with a scope. Just go for power output and something you haven't heard everyone say only lasts a week before it blows up...

I didn't mean the orions as I know they are good amps. I'm still considering strapping them. What I meant was ku40 showed me some class d's off IKE for like two hundred that were pushing 1k @ 2 ohms that I was questioning. I'm a little outta the loop on what's good and what isn't anymore since cso went down.

Dude, go to MN and grab the 1/0 out of my garage.

I don't think the Orions are strappable. You'll just have to read up about stuff these days, I don't really no that much about each amp on IKE, just the ones I have bought and used.
