Things are getting worse in our economy.
Get out of debt.....concentrate on smallest debt first and power dump on it till its gone...then focus on next debt....so on and so on till you are clear.....

Buy precious metals....
Silver has tripled its worth since 2000.
Gold is up 25%
There is 5x more paper gold than physical gold.
Same with silver.....
Take a % of your checks stash it for your future...watch the market and.......buy precious metals....
I have been tracking precious metals for a while and at this moment...they are as low as they will probably get for a bit...i don't know what will happen Monday...but I have been waiting on Silver to hit 12.80per oz and I forcasted a drop for last week (about two weeks ago) down it went.....and again I forcasted a powerful fall at 8am yesterday for good fall by days end...by 11:30 it fell 40cents.
That was a que to buy for me......."close enough".
Monday it may fall again.....or it may go back up.......the "trend" bottom is about right where its at right now but it is hard to tell if it will go up or down from here...i have waited 2 months for it go back down to this rate..and it hovered 15 cents above where i wanted it..so even at its lowest...its trend is still raising itself slowly... 15 cents at a time..(laymen's terms of course, i don't have the time to actually type out a real lesson on this stuff).

I like silver because i can afford to buy it...its that simple..i'm not rich..(green line was Friday)

Do your homework...look...read....watch...gas is high...housing is down....when gas hits its peak...the market slows...products are too expensive to freight...cost rolls over to us...we buy less....
Market value drops....due to lack of commerce....

Poobah is right, silver is good. ETF's for oil and natgas are good, as are a few choice retailers. I am really liking being able to buy AUY and SKS and JWN right now for a significant reduction. Spending isn't falling horribly, and these companies cater to those who spend regardless of the economy.

Poobah, have you thought about SLV? It's down on the news that Hong Kong whacked silver again, and it may just be time to pick up a few (it's still 'spensive).

This is a fickle market, but there's definitely money to be made, that's for damn sure.

Ah, I thought you meant investing in a fund for it. I don't typically buy the physical.

Yes, I do. Several, actually, and each is setup for different reasons. I hear you on the personal, but I like the ability to manage and move it around and make things happen. I feel like a hedge fund sometimes.

As a side note, if you are not watching the special on CNBC about how to retire as a millionaire, I highly recommend catching the repeat (it's on now, but it's 9.20 EST, and 6.20 where I'm at). It will be on again at midnight EST.

I don't agree with everything on it, but a lot of it is solid advice.

up it goes again.....off to a good start....up 20cents.
I have no speculation on today's action...right now it will be just a flutter of Friday till some confidence is gained. Asian market and silver mining is weird.
A lot of silver is the byproduct of copper mining....so ...if that don't confuse you...i don't know what will. lots to read........holla.

green line is always "TODAY" or last market day.
