lol, well they are exterior paints, and i don't think i've ever seen a car with a beige exterior for stock colors. I'm sure they have Rustoleum or Krylon to matcgh your interior. then just top it with some clear coat? check your home-depot/wal-mart(since it's closer). i'm sure using regular spray paint will be no different than automotive spray paint. just a thought.

now the box has 3 coats of paint on it, effectively getting rid of most of the lighter spots...
here's that glazing putty I used to do the smaller touch up work, it dries in seconds too, about 30 seconds after applying it, you can sand it, and it sands easier than regular filler.

these pics were just before the 3rd coat:

and finally, you can start to see my reflection in the box on the 3rd coat:

yay! now I need to go buy some clear coat and rubbing compound...

I was wondering, should I sand between color coats? or is it not necessary? I haven't a clue, it's soo smooth, I sanded it down to 800grit smooth before that coat.
well I burnish it with sand paper before the first color coat, then again after all the color coats are applied, then once more after all the clear coats...course I never have touched fiberglass before so dunno...basically final primer coat > sand > color > wetsand > clear > wetsand then polish

i was gonna mention glazing/spot putty...but i see you did....that saves alot of time/hassle...instead of mixing up another batch of bondo.
bondo blows...i hate using/sanding/doing anything with that stuff....
